Our Staff

Barmount Feedlot employs between 10 and 25 staff, utilising a range of permanent full-time, part-time and casual staff to meet our dynamic operational requirements. We also engage with a variety of contractors and external consultants including feedlot agronomists, nutritionists and veterinarians.

Due to the dynamic nature of the business, we are always on the hunt for self-motivated professionals to join our growing team across all areas of our operation including:

Business and office administration
Cooking, cleaning and general caretaking
Farming
Feed milling and delivery
Livestock handling
Machinery operation and maintenance

Staff Facilities

Facilities available for our staff on the property include:

Air-conditioned accomodation
Toilet and showering facilities
Washing machines and clothes line
Fresh home-cooked meals prepared daily by our onsite cook
Recreational area containing a TV with Foxtel, high-speed Wi-Fi, pool table and table tennis table
Diesel and ULP fuelling facilities for personal vehicles at discounted fuel rates

Social Activities

It’s not all work, we do like to have some fun. Some of our frequent social activities include:

Social nights including trivia night, pizza night and watching the State of Origin
Monthly team challenges including pool, table tennis and darts
Monthly staff birthday morning tea
Annual staff Christmas dinner
Annual footy tipping competition
Annual 10,000 step challenge
Annual Movember fundraiser
